Explore our elite portfolio of industrial silicones, chemical materials, and advanced silane coupling solutions.
In the modern manufacturing landscape, elastomer performance is a key differentiator across high-technology fields like automotive systems, electrical insulation, microelectronics, and advanced medical equipment. Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) and Heat Curing Rubber (HCR) are vital components in these industries.
As a leading organosilicon producer, Shandong Boctok Chemical Co. (founded in 2012) has established itself as an innovative force. In 2023, our domestic and overseas sales reached US$280 million. With our specialized BOCTOK brand serving the Russian and global markets, we offer chemical solutions backed by raw material security and advanced automation.
This whitepaper explores the operational characteristics, supply chain strategies, and quality processes that support our Heat Curing Liquid Silicone Rubber manufacturing.
Demonstrating scale, consistency, and market trust across our global footprint.
Shandong Boctok Chemical Co. operates from regional hubs designed to maximize raw material security and shipping efficiency. Our manufacturing capacity is backed by partnerships with major energy enterprises, including SINOPEC and PetroChina.
This setup ensures a stable supply of key hydrocarbon monomers and upstream organosilicon feedstocks. It helps protect our partners from market price changes and raw material shortages that can disrupt production.
Our recent US$65 million investment in the Bohai Industrial Park (Shouguang City, Shandong Province) features 6 automatic DCS production lines. This facility produces 30,000 tons of silane coupling agents annually, strengthening our vertical integration in silicone rubber production.
Our three hydrocarbon resin factories in Zibo, Fushun, and Nanjing produce C9 hydrogenated resins, C5 hydrocarbon resins, and C5 modified C9 resins. These materials serve as key modifiers in industrial adhesives and coatings worldwide.
Why top industrial buyers select Boctok's silicone formulations for heavy duty applications.
We implement ISO9001 systems throughout our production. Each batch undergoes testing to ensure consistent mechanical, electrical, and thermal properties.
Our production lines run on modern Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), reducing batch variability and ensuring safe operations.
Our scaled facilities support bulk orders and custom formulations for global buyers, with quick delivery turnarounds.
Our technical team is available to assist with formulation choice, processing configuration, and regulatory verification.
We work with established logistics partners to coordinate sea, rail, and land freight. This keeps lead times predictable and shipping costs competitive.
Our production facilities feature waste gas capture and wastewater treatment systems. These setups process manufacturing effluents in line with regional environmental regulations.
Large procurement departments evaluate suppliers based on material safety data sheets, regulatory compliance, and consistent material quality. Shandong Boctok Chemical Co. supports these needs by offering:

Shandong Boctok Chemical Co. maintains dedicated operations for the Russian market under the BOCTOK brand. We supply documentation, including safety passports and technical certificates, in Russian to assist with customs clearances.
We also customize our silicone rubbers and silane coupling agents to meet regional performance requirements, such as maintaining flexibility and impact strength in very cold environments.
Our sales and technical support departments handle inquiries directly in Russian and English, assisting with orders from logistics planning to customs and warehousing.
Our Shouguang plant is designed to maintain consistent process control. The facility uses DCS automated control systems and SIS safety instrumentation systems to monitor temperature, pressure, and material additions.
To address the environmental regulations of chemical processing, the site includes dedicated waste gas capture and chemical wastewater treatment units. These setups minimize processing emissions and recycle water, helping us meet clean production requirements.
Our supply chain supports shipping routes to North America, Europe, Australia, South America, the Middle East, India, Southeast Asia, and Russia. We coordinate rail and ocean transport networks to ensure predictable transit times for our international clients.
Technical and logistics questions answered by our engineering and export departments.
Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) is a two-part liquid formulation (Part A and Part B) that uses a platinum-catalyzed addition reaction to cure. It features a lower viscosity and is typically processed using injection molding equipment, making it suitable for high-precision parts and complex geometries.
Heat Curing Rubber (HCR), also called solid silicone or gum rubber, has a much higher viscosity. It is processed using compression molding, transfer molding, or extrusion. HCR can use either peroxide curing systems or platinum addition systems, and it is often chosen for high-volume profiles, tubes, gaskets, and sheets that require strong mechanical properties.
We secure our feedstocks through long-term partnerships with major domestic producers, including SINOPEC and PetroChina. This direct access to chemical monomers helps us maintain production and offer stable pricing to our clients during supply shortages.
Our plant operates under ISO 9001 quality management guidelines. We use Distributed Control Systems (DCS) to monitor reaction metrics and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) to ensure operational safety. We also maintain a QC laboratory that performs gas chromatography, viscosity testing, and mechanical property checks on every product batch.
Yes. For regions with cold winters, such as Russia and parts of Northern Europe, we adjust our silicone rubber formulations. We introduce phenyl-based siloxane chains (such as our 120 methyl phenyl silicone rubber) to lower the glass transition temperature of the polymer, allowing the cured material to retain its elasticity at temperatures as low as -60°C.
We offer silicone formulations that meet FDA, LFGB, REACH, and RoHS standards. We provide material compliance declarations, heavy-metal analyses, and migration testing data to help customers complete their own regulatory filings.
Uncured silicone compounds generally have a shelf life of 6 to 12 months from the date of manufacture when stored in their original sealed containers. They should be kept in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with temperatures maintained below 25°C (77°F). For addition-cure (platinum) materials, keep them away from sulfur, nitrogen, and phosphorus compounds, as these can inhibit the curing reaction.
Silane coupling agents act as chemical bridges between the inorganic fillers (such as silica, glass fibers, or minerals) and the organic silicone polymer. They improve filler dispersion in the compound, which increases the material's overall tensile strength, tear resistance, and electrical properties while reducing its viscosity during processing.
We provide full container load (FCL) and less-than-container load (LCL) shipping options. We utilize sea freight for overseas markets, road and rail transport networks for CIS countries, and multimodal solutions to handle customs clearance at regional borders.
