Founded in 2012, Shandong Boctok Chemical Co. has established itself as an industry leader in organosilicon design, manufacturing, and international trade operations. Serving as the primary marketing and sales hub for the domestic and overseas business of Boctok™, our operations generated sales of US$280 million in 2023. Operating with strict compliance, our dedicated BOCTOK brand specializes in serving complex markets including the Russian federation and global CIS nations, delivering custom-tailored organosilicon solutions across high-performance chemical lines.
Boctok’s structural focus revolves around three industrial product categories. Our primary core business spans twelve series of silane coupling agents and crosslinkers, engineered for high-performance matrices. These include aminosilane, methacrylate silane, epoxy silane, vinyl silane, mercaptosilane, alkyl silane, ethyl silicate, chlorosilane, silane isocyanates, phenyl silane, ureidosilane, and serosilane formulations. To support continuous polymers and architectural finishes, we also focus on silicone oil, silicone resin, and silicone rubber derivatives.
"Our continuous manufacturing expansion is driven by a US$65 million investment in our state-of-the-art facility located in the Bohai Industrial Park, Shouguang City, Shandong Province, scaling our automated DCS production lines to deliver 30,000 tons of high-purity silanes annually."
Alkoxy silane crosslinking agents serve as the cornerstone for modern organic-inorganic hybrid polymer materials. The chemical reactivity of alkoxy silanes, characterized by the general formula R-Si(OR')3, hinges on a dual-functional molecular structure. The silicon-bonded alkoxy group (typically methoxy or ethoxy) undergoes controlled hydrolysis in the presence of ambient moisture, generating reactive silanol groups (Si-OH). These silanols subsequently undergo a condensation reaction with one another or with hydroxyl groups on inorganic substrates (such as silica, glass, or metals) to form stable siloxane bonds (Si-O-Si).
This hydrolysis-condensation reaction pathway enables crosslinking at ambient temperatures, making alkoxy silanes highly valuable in RTV (Room Temperature Vulcanized) silicone rubber, moisture-curable crosslinked polyethylene (XLPE) cable compounds, and high-durability coatings. The organic group (R) provides specific compatibility or reactivity with the host organic polymer (e.g., epoxy, amino, vinyl, or mercapto functionalities), creating a chemical bridge that dramatically increases tensile strength, thermal resistance, and adhesion to hard-to-bond substrates.
Methoxy silanes release methanol during hydrolysis, offering fast curing rates suitable for industrial processes. Ethoxy silanes release ethanol, providing an eco-friendly curing profile ideal for cosmetics, personal care, and architectural projects demanding low toxicity.
Under ambient humidity, our silanes systematically crosslink, converting liquid coatings or thermoplastic matrices into highly resilient thermoset networks with superior mechanical integrity and low thermal degradation.
By forming covalent bonds directly with silica, alumina, glass fibers, and calcium carbonate filler surfaces, our crosslinking agents establish resilient interfaces, eliminating shear delamination.
To ensure high quality, Boctok recently invested US$65 million to construct our state-of-the-art facility in the Bohai Industrial Park (Shouguang City, Shandong Province). Spanning high-performance chemical manufacturing blocks, this modern infrastructure has been optimized for the synthesis of silane coupling agents, operating 6 automatic DCS production lines with an annual output of 30,000 tons.
The production lines in the new factory are fully integrated with automatic remote control systems (DCS) and Safety Instrument Systems (SIS). These safety designs monitor pressure, temperature, and material flow feeds, ensuring stable quality. In addition, Boctok implements ISO9001 Quality Management standards throughout the raw material sourcing, synthesis, distillation, and shipping processes. Committed to ecological responsibility, our facility operates waste gas collection systems and wastewater treatment setups to reduce emissions and ensure environmental compliance.
By coupling production capacity with custom manufacturing, we offer key advantages for global enterprises seeking high-quality chemical supplies.
Our silane products undergo rigorous gas chromatography (GC), mass spectrometry (MS), and moisture testing to ensure purity and performance consistency across batches.
Our 30,000-ton capacity supports both bulk shipments and custom synthesis, allowing us to rapidly scale production to meet industrial market demands.
Our multilingual technical support team operates 24 hours a day, providing formulation advice, product compatibility analysis, and fast troubleshooting.
Leveraging strategic logistics near major Chinese ports and railways, we ensure secure packaging, prompt customs clearance, and timely delivery worldwide.
Operating in international chemical markets requires navigating strict regional regulations and technical guidelines. For procurement teams in Europe, North America, Japan, and Russia, meeting compliance rules is a key part of risk management. Shandong Boctok Chemical supports international businesses by aligning every shipment with global regulatory standards:
We work to register our core silane lines with EU REACH and US TSCA, ensuring chemical imports proceed smoothly through regional border controls.
Our shipments feature compliant labeling, ISO-certified packaging, and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) available in multiple languages to meet GHS requirements.
Through our dedicated marketing hubs and distribution partnerships, we manage logistics networks to reduce lead times for regional manufacturers.
By maintaining control over our supply chain—from raw monomer synthesis to final distillation—we help protect our partners against price volatility and raw material shortages. This reliable supply chain makes Boctok a trusted partner for global chemical procurement.
Shandong Boctok Chemical operates a diversified product portfolio designed to serve a wide range of industrial applications:
Includes twelve key silane series (aminosilane, epoxy silane, vinyl silane, mercaptosilane, and alkyl silane), along with specialized silicone oils, MQ resins, and room-temperature vulcanized rubbers.
We supply intermediates and active ingredients for pesticides, fungicides, insecticides, seed treatments, herbicides, and plant growth regulators (PGRs).
Boctok's secondary core business is hydrocarbon resins. We have invested in a key hydrocarbon resin manufacturer in China, operating three specialized production facilities in Zibo, Fushun, and Nanjing. Leveraging raw materials from SINOPEC and PetroChina, our advanced manufacturing lines produce high-quality C9 hydrogenated resins, C5 hydrocarbon resins, C5 modified C9 resins, pure C9 resins, dicyclopentadiene (DCPD), and methyl cyclopentadiene dimer. These resins are widely used in thermoplastic road markings, hot-melt adhesives, printing inks, and industrial rubber compounds.
Our organosilicon agents, hydrocarbon resins, and agricultural formulations are used globally to improve performance, durability, and reliability across different industrial fields.

The silane market is evolving to meet new environmental requirements and support clean technologies. As regulatory systems focus on lowering Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), the industry is transitioning toward more sustainable formulations:
Traditional methoxy silanes release methanol, a toxic air pollutant, during hydrolysis. The industry is increasingly adopting ethoxy silanes and oligomeric silane structures, which reduce VOC releases while maintaining formulation performance.
Electric vehicle (EV) battery packs require effective electrical insulation and thermal conductivity. Alkoxy silanes act as key surface treatments for alumina and silica fillers in EV potting gels, helping to manage operating temperatures.
From solar photovoltaic encapsulation films (EVA/POE) to large-scale wind turbine blades, silane coupling agents help protect renewable energy infrastructure against moisture degradation and environmental stress.
